The former president's Granddaughter Receives Expert Guidance from Tiger Woods Ahead of LPGA First Appearance

Young golfer getting ready for significant tournament

The rising star boasts considerable social media presence

Kai Trump will have numerous prominent backers as she begins her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, received a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses multiple courses worldwide and often plays against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we play some close matches," she stated.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, unable to come, told her: "Just stay calm."

"My grandpa essentially suggested to play and have fun," she continued.

"To me, he's just an ordinary family member. He can't make it for the tournament. He's occupied with presidential duties, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, the golfer has competed in just three tournaments this year and has ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

However she can receive tips from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.

"And he's an even better person. He advised me to go out there, have fun, and go with whatever happens."

She'll challenge several the biggest names in professional golf at the competition, featuring second-ranked the champion, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

The LPGA mentioned that Kai's presence brings golf to wider groups, particularly with youth audiences.

Kai has substantial online presence and just introduced an exclusive fashion and living brand.

She begins at 17:30 GMT.
